We always appreciate an artists eye... and a helping hand
We hope you all had a fun filled Labor Day weekend full of adventure! Flat Boyd had an adventure or two.
He was able to hitch a ride with a great family, the Johanson's, and do a little dirt bike riding up near Fairview.

It sure is beautiful in those mountains. Just looking at the picture makes me feel like I could sit and meditate. Maybe I should learn how to meditate, and get my Om on. Who knows maybe I could expel a little of this crazy I got going on? I'll bet Boyd meditates, he's so chill and thoughtful. I'm going to ask him today when I see him. I'll keep you posted!
On to the next!
Pretty much everyday Boyd gets out for his stroll around the hood. I don't know if you can call it a stroll, have you seen how fast he goes in the Jazzy? I think it could rival my Mustang. I think he gets his cruise on because it's really close to the color of his old '67 (I might have the year wrong) Camaro. If the Jazzy wasn't a loaner he said we could put the white stripes on it just like his old Camaro. How awesome would that be, cruising around the hood in the Camaro inspired Jazzy. I still think it's awesome seeing him cruise around, even without the white stripe, it sparkles in the sun!
This weekend we started a new project at our place. It seems that we always have at least one project going. We needed his advice on how to paint this old, beat up trailer. He gave us some great ideas, and it's looking amazing in our heads, hopefully it will translate ok onto the trailer.
Boyd was talking about shadowing and I think I heard "1/4 of an inch" thrown in there. It's good he tells the hubs about the technical stuff, cause I didn't have my paper and pencil to write it down. It's also a good thing that we know where to find him when we have a question. HA! I know where you live, I can bring peaches and leave them on the porch, ring the bell and run away!
Then Connor needed a little help with his CB antenna. This kid always needs a little supervision while soldering. Just kidding, he's great at it, but you can always use a work buddy, it makes things more fun.
And just right there. Job well done! When Connor was rebuilding his Jeep, it was fun to have Boyd stop by for a visit and talk about the progress he'd made since he'd seen it last. We always like to get a few hilarious stories out of Boyd when he stops by, my favorites are car related, there's a few.
Speaking of... Is there a statute of limitations...??? I better not say in this public forum, so we'll just ask this kind officer if he knows, however, he's not a U or U cop. Thank goodness, he's clear and doesn't have any warrants and could go on this sweet ride along!!! Who gets to go on a ride along on a police motorcycle??? Flat Boyd, that's who! Thank you kind officer!
